Sligo College of Further Education & Training is the largest provider of Further Education in the North West of Ireland, offering a diverse range of vocational courses for Post-Leaving Certificate and mature students. We have strong connections with Higher Education Institutions in Ireland and the UK, providing our graduates with potential progression pathways. Additionally, we collaborate closely with industry and professional sectors to ensure excellent employment opportunities for our students.

Each year, we facilitate approximately 100 students on short-term (three-week) mobility programs for work experience. Recently, we have also begun exploring KA2 opportunities and are currently leading a small-scale KA2 project in partnership with institutions in Spain and France. (Eco-Byte – Food Sustainability)

We are eager to expand our involvement in KA2 initiatives to enhance opportunities for our learners and the college. Furthermore, we seek to strengthen existing partnerships and establish new collaborations with our European counterparts.
