Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of National Education (Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of National Education) is an accreditation institution in the fields of vocational education, adult education and school education in the Erasmus field. Our organization is a directorate working within the scope of learning and teaching within the scope of EU Education and Cultural Integration Programs. Founded in 1924, the directorate provides services in a 4 storey building with a total of 150 employees. The directorate supervises 1,022 schools, 17,501 teachers and 198,575 students.
Our institution, which is the general and authorized local authority of the education process, is responsible for guiding all schools and comprehensive education programs affiliated to it, facilitating work and progress and controlling the process format.
It is at the decision-making center in the development and improvement of the quality of education in our province, and in the training of individuals who are innovative, entrepreneurial, productive, and have national and international professional competence, professional ethics and professional values, who can add value to the economy by using the knowledge and skills acquired by students in line with their interests and abilities, in cooperation with social and economic sectors.
Our institution also provides support to students and teachers with various projects. The most important of these is that it has Erasmus accreditation in 3 areas.
