Director of International Affairs at FPEmpresa-Asociación de Centros de FP. He will lead efforts to expand EfVET’s membership, deepen engagement, and build stronger national and European outreach. Carlos de Olagüe Smithson studied Telecommunications Engineering (UPM) and a Master in Power Electronics (FernUni Hagen). His Doctorate in Education (UAM) was a research about Erasmus funding in VET. Carlos is responsible for International Affairs at the Spanish association FPEmpresa formed by more than 400 public and private VET schools. He is the Director of the VET High School IES Pedro de Tolosa in Madrid and Academic Coordinator at the University Carlos III. Several of his articles and publications describe the past and current situation of vocational education and training in Spain and Europe.
