The 2nd day shifted its focus to practical solutions and best practices in upskilling and reskilling. Participants heard about successful initiatives and explored ways to work together to bridge the skills gap in the agrifood sector.

The event offered participants the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences, discover innovative skills development initiatives and build new partnerships to support training and education efforts.

EfVET has several projects aligned with the Pact for Skills framework, including one related to the agrifood ecosystem: I-Restart. The Inclusive REskilling and UPskilling Toward competitive Agrifood and Veterinary Sectors (I-Restart) project aims at reskilling and upskilling the workforce in these two sectors. As part of the project, I-Restart is a member of the Agrifood Pact for Skills, and its coordinators participated as key speakers of the event.
