EfVET attended UNISER Teacher Week 2025 in Bologna, Italy

EfVET attended, one once again, the UNISER Teacher Week 2025 (UTW) focused on the topic “Empowering Schools for Inclusive Internationalisation”

Carried out in Bologna (IT) from May 7-9, UTW welcomed more than 100 VET professionals from EU and non-EU countries (including Armenia, Albania, Canada, China and Sri Lanka), who exchanged experiences and know-how, engaging with each other towards future joint initiatives that have the potential to contribute for the quality and visibility of VET.

As one of the contributing organisations of this successful event, EfVET was represented by Paolo Nardi and by Susana Nogueira, who were actively involved in two interactive sessions:

Paolo Nardi along with Sotiria Tsalamani (EVBB) and Patricia Tejada Fernandez (EVTA) hosted the session “CoVEs: Building your Pathways to Vocational Excellence”, where all 19 participants got the opportunity to understand what are the Centres of Vocational Excellence and the pillars of this Erasmus+  Programme, and worked together on project ideas based on a CoVE Business Model Canvas that supports organisations conceptualising successful project proposals. At the end of this session, all participants had a clear idea of the relevance of CoVEs for VET Excellence to define a clear project vision and develop successful proposals.

On the second day of the UTW 2025, Susana Nogueira moderated the session “Inclusion Hub: Connecting with International Community”, where all participants were invited to explore the potential of EfVET Inclusive Vocational Excellence, Wellbeing and Bienvivance Hub, and to identify opportunities for over 470 members of this community of international experts to cooperate while addressing relevant issues related to Inclusion and Wellbeing. The Hub is open for VET professionals and experts to join here.

In the scope of Peer Learning Breakout Sessions, UTW 2025 had other initiatives, including a keynote speech by Anna Barbieri (European Commission (DG Employment, Social Affairs & Inclusion), dedicated to Internationalisation Stories, moderated by João Santos (Former Senior Expert at the European Commission Erasmus).
