Students, trainers and industry professionals will be able to acquire, free of charge, the skills related to circularity principles in hotel establishments.
The project Circular4Hospitality embeds circular-economy principles in vocational training for current and future tourism and hospitality staff, providing practical skills to plan and implement circular strategies in hotels and other accommodation facilities.
The free online programme (English, Greek, Turkish, Italian and Spanish) is structured in five modules: circular economy in hospitality; sustainability project management; environmental certifications and standards; sustainable hotel practices; systems thinking and performance assessment. A practical toolkit supports immediate transfer to hotels, hotel chains and VET centres. Access is via the registration form.
An interactive self-learning game presents simulated hotel-management scenarios on circularity, sustainability and resource efficiency. It will be available via Google Play Games and as an online game.
