FYLL – Fair Youth Labour Label is a European project developed to promote fair, ethical, and transparent working conditions for young people, while supporting responsible employers and strengthening local communities.
The project is implemented within the Erasmus+ Programme, under Key Action 2 – Small-scale Partnerships in Youth, and brings together organisations from three European countries to address shared challenges related to youth employment, precarious work, and limited awareness of labour rights.
A transnational partnership
FYLL is coordinated by Didaxé Cooperativa Sociale (Italy), in partnership with Odyssea AMKE (Greece) and Projecteka Association (Bulgaria).
Together, the partners work in diverse local contexts—rural, island, and urban areas—sharing a common commitment to improving youth employability and promoting dignified work.
Educational and training objectives
FYLL focuses on young people aged 18–25, particularly those exposed to precarious, informal, or low-quality employment, as well as on local entrepreneurs and employers.
The project’s educational objectives include:
- increasing young people’s awareness of labour rights and employment regulations at national and European level;
- supporting employers in understanding their responsibilities and the benefits of fair employment practices;
- fostering dialogue between young workers and employers through participatory and non-formal education methods;
- contributing to the prevention of undeclared work and exploitation by replacing misinformation with knowledge and shared responsibility.
Key outputs and project results
Throughout its implementation, FYLL produces concrete and transferable outputs designed to have a lasting impact beyond the project’s duration:
- Training materials on youth labour rights, fair employment practices, and employer–employee relations, developed and tested in three countries;
https://fyll-project.eu/online-training - a FYLL Toolkit, created to support the replication of the model in other European territories, providing practical guidance, methodologies, and adaptable tools;
https://fyll-project.eu/toolkit - a FYLL Label application questionnaire, accompanied by clear guidelines and assessment criteria, which allows businesses to apply for the Fair Youth Labour Label by demonstrating their commitment to ethical and dignified youth employment.

The Fair Youth Labour Label itself acts as a positive recognition tool, highlighting employers who respect labour standards and actively contribute to improving working conditions for young people within their communities.
Looking ahead
By combining education, participation, and recognition, FYLL aims to change how work is perceived by young people and how responsibility is understood by employers. The project promotes a shared vision of work based on dignity, legality, and mutual respect, aligned with European values of inclusion, social justice, and active citizenship.
