One Month of Learning and Discovery (IUS)

IUS Meucci Students’ Mobility in Sarajevo From May 13th to June 11th , 2025, Sarajevo has been home to a group of talented VET students from Italy, who embarked on an unforgettable mobility experience. Hosted by dedicated local companies and organizations, the students gained hands-on skills, discovered new cultures, and made lasting memories. Throughout the mobility period, students were placed in diverse sectors such as hospitality, IT, marketing and administration. Beyond professional development, students explored Sarajevo’s rich history, vibrant markets, and breathtaking landscapes. Guided tours, visiting Mostar, shared meals and coffee with their peers and hosts helped them understand Bosnia and Herzegovina’s traditions and way of life. The experience helped students improve their communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Many overcame language barriers and cultural differences, returning home with increased confidence and a network of international contacts. We extend our gratitude to the companies Disti d.o.o., Bravo BiH, Heritage Krone Hotel, FabLab, Travel Centar, IRO-IUS and mentors as well, with speacial thanks to IUS Erasmus Buddies who made this mobility possible. Your dedication ensured the students had a safe, educational, and life-changing experience. For several years, the Joint Hosting project has been implemented with the support of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
