Recently, UNESCO-UNEVOC published “Inclusion in TVET”, a practical guide for formal, non-formal and informal TVET institutions. This represents a valuable milestone for EfVET and UNEVOC work in promoting inclusive vocational excellence in VET and global cooperation for innovation.
The guide provides actionable strategies for building inclusive TVET systems. It promotes collaboration among NGOs, private sector actors and education providers to ensure no learner is left behind, including:
- A 5-step framework for inclusive implementation
- The 4A tool: Availability, Accessibility, Acceptability, Adaptability
- Concrete strategies and tools for systemic transformation
- Emphasis on pilot projects to drive institutional change
