May 12-13, Brussels. EfVET’s Secretary General, Valentina Chanina and Jaime Rivas, Communications Inter, attended the All Digital General Assembly, which brought together over 75 attendees. All Digital is a European association based in Brussels which represents 60 member organisations from more than 30 countries that work with 20.000 digital competence centres providing access and training to 2.9 million people in Europe every year.
EfVET and All Digital maintain a strategic partnership, adding value for both organizations through the sharing of knowledge and fruitful online outreach practices to promote #DigitalInclusion, #Skills, and #Empowerment.
David Mekkaoui, CEO of All Digital, welcomed everyone to the General Assembly 2025, saying: “DigComp plays a key role in creating a shared understanding of digital competences. It is central to our mission, as it helps shape the Digital Skills Policy, one of All Digital’s five focus pillars- that’s the vision driving All Digital.”
The General Assembly featured a series of key panels, including a presentation of the revised #DigComp framework by Jude Cosgrove, EU Commissioner. The General assembly was hosted at the Umbria Region’s Representative office in Brussels. The aim of the first official part of the meeting was to discuss the membership status, to elect the new Board, as well as to evaluate and approve the main organisational documents. Attendees also participated in the election of the new All Digital Board, with the following appointments:
- All Digital’s Chair: Marianna Marcucci.
- All Digital’s Deputy Chair: Eleni Georgakakou.
EfVET congratulates the new board as it marks a new era for our partnership and work as we continue to promote Digital Inclusion and Digital Skills. We look forward to keep participating in joint projects and events with All Digital.
