Since 1979 , the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese has never stopped changing its identity: while remaining faithful to its nature, that of a consortium between local public bodies and the Puglia region | maintaining intact its aim of pursuing objectives of public interest in the sectors of entertainment, the arts and the valorization of cultural heritage .

A consortium is a space for sharing among those who recognize a common vision: to embrace the entire cultural life of the Puglia Region, its citizens and its visitors, giving life to a plurality of actions and projects .
