The ROC van Amsterdam (ROCvA) provides secondary vocational education at nine modern vocational colleges (MBOs) in Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Hoofddorp, and Hilversum. Each MBO college offers its own program and a number of specializations. Professional practice is visible and tangible at the school.
The ROC van Amsterdam is characterized by high-quality education with a strong focus on the individual student. The programs are offered as a full-time Vocational Training Pathway (BOL) and/or a part-time Vocational Training Pathway (BBL), with a strong focus on the individual student.
Adult education consists of the Joke Smit College (vmbo-tl, havo, vwo) and Education & Integration (courses and training).
The ROCvA also provides secondary education. The Amsterdam Secondary Education (VOvA) program comprises nine schools offering practical training, from pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) through grammar school (Gymnasium).
